- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The Mid-America Diabetes clinic on Hillside has poor patient care. The wait in the waiting room is not so bad but once they finish with your blood and urine checks you can sit in the patient room for a very very long time. The nurse will come after 15 to 20 minutes of waiting and then you'll have to wait at least another half hour to see the doctor. The hours of the clinic are not reasonable for a working person and the late appointments are scheduled out several months ahead which makes it impossible to see the doctors without missing work. I went to this clinic on 3 different appointments. It was the same each visit even when I was the first patient of the day. In my experence, after seeing two different doctors at this location, I found that the doctors don't listen and treated me like a "textbook" patient which I am not. I quit going to the clinic and began treating my gestational diabetes on my own and did just fine with a perfectly healthy pregnancy. They never noticed or didn't care that I quit making appointments.July 19, 2017by A Google User
