  I switched to R2 Center for Dentistry in January 2017. After my uncle (who also was my long term dentist) had passed away, I was unhappy with his successor in the clinic. My experience was anything but satisfactory, even so much as having 3 of the 4 wisdom teeth removed individually within weeks of each other to avoid referring me to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth that were not impacting. Total waste of an insurance claim; and not even any consolation in manor. Being said, Dr. Ty Reusser is warm and inviting. He actually asks about your day and things about you — it’s a personal experience. He’s possibly the sweetest and most charismatic physician I’ve had, especially after Dr. Horror. The wisdom tooth experience left me with severe anxiety — every scrape and poke made me cringe and sweat, an experience my kindred uncle never incited. After leaving my 6 month cleaning this morning, it’s safe to say I’m more than willing to return when due without hesitation. The R2 staff is also lovely — I didn’t catch my hygienist’s name, but she provided a comfortable cleaning experience as well as took time to explain certain methods and findings when I had a buckle in my molar.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Ty for about 15 years. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and professional yet very personable. His staff is a reflection of this, and always very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his office to anyone needing dental care.
