- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was so fortunate to have Dr. Howell perform the surgery on my maissonueve fracture. I had broken my ankle in three places skiing and the ligaments were detached plus the membranes torn. My mother had had a similar injury and her ankle was 6 inches in diameter for the rest of her life My ankle looks great -- you can hardly tell it from the other one.
